Management Foundations (student outcomes focus)
Project 3
- Project 3. - Managing personal work priorities, managing professional development and developing a workplace learning environment.
Participants will be required to demonstrate competence in at least two different contexts in successfully developing and managing people, personal work priorities and professional development to develop a learning organisation.

- Introduction to Elements of Project 3.
- Essential readings and theory.
- Face to face interactions on site (various, as needed – Issues such as Goal Setting, Prioritization, Training Needs Analysis, Continuous quality Improvement, Strategic Planning discussed as an ongoing part of mentoring/ coaching process). Readings provided from PPA ‘s extensive catalogue of Management Development workshops and sourced from MindSights.
- Participants share their use of MindSights in building structures for developing and managing generic interaction processes.
- Continue to use and build skills with MindSights to develop productive processes for working with and through people with focus on external clients.
Additional elements: (Building Outcomes Focused Leadership)
- Introduce 13 sets of issues/skills for Linking Leadership (the underpinning skill set at 3 levels (6-people, 5-task and 2-leader) in 360° model). (Skill development in preparation for Project 4).
- Follow-up “Communication & Problem Solving At Work” skilling (an online, interactive questionnaire) - “Homework Project” (½ day)
