There are nationally accredited courses in Frontline Management at Certificate III, Certificate IV and Diploma levels.

The Certificate IV in Frontline Management reflects the role of people who take the first line of management in a wide range of contexts. At this level, frontline managers provide leadership and guidance to others and take responsibility for the effective functioning and performance of the team and its work outcomes.
After successfully completing this qualification, candidates may undertake the BSB51107 Diploma of Management, or a range of other Diploma qualifications.
To complete the Certificate IV in Frontline Management qualification, candidates need to complete four core units and six elective units. There is a wide range of choices in the elective units. They may be taken from the BSB07 Business Services Training Package, or from other endorsed Training Packages. These electives will generally be chosen from the same level of course, i.e. Certificate IV. However, the packaging rules allow for one unit of work to be taken from a qualification level directly higher or lower. i.e. Diploma or Certificate III.
The core units for Certificate IV in Frontline Management are:
- BSBMGT401A - Show leadership in the workplace
- BSBMGT402A - Implement operational plan
- BSBOHS407A - Monitor a safe workplace
- BSBWOR402A - Promote team effectiveness
The elective units chosen will depend upon the individual candidate and their work role. For example, the Head of Department in a secondary school, the Head of Faculty in a tertiary institute or other educational leader may choose the following six electives:
- BSBWOR401A - Establish effective workplace relationships
- BSBLED401A - Develop teams and individuals
- BSBWOR404A - Develop work priorities
- BSBMGT403A - Implement continuous improvement
- BSBCMM401A - Make a presentation
- BSBPMG510A - Manage projects
A supervisor in a sales team may choose the following six electives:
- BSBCMM401A - Make a presentation
- BSBINN301A - Promote innovation in a team environment
- BSBINM401A - Implement workplace information system
- BSBLED401A - Develop teams and individuals
- BSBMKG413A - Promote products and services
- BSBREL401A - Establish networks
A team leader of a business unit may choose the following six electives:
- BSBFIA402A - Report on financial activity
- BSBITS401A - Maintain business technology
- BEBREL402A - Build client relationships and business networks
- BSBRKG403B - Set up a business or records system for a small office
- BSBRSK401A - Identify risk and apply risk management processes
- BSBWRT401A - Write complex documents

The payment details if you are enrolling as a fee-for-service participant are listed below:
A tax invoice for $1,500 will be issued to you upon enrolment. The balance of $2,100 may be paid in instalments as you progress through the course, or in a lump sum. Statements of attainment and the award of Certificate IV in Frontline Management will not be issued until all fees are paid in full.
The MindSights Premium software package and training in the use of that package will be available to-fee-for-service participants following receipt of the initial payment of $1,500.
